Research Experience:
Zhong Hhaijian received the B.E. and M.E. degrees from Chemical Engineering College of Beijing Technology and Business University and environment and Chemical Engineering College of Shanghai University in 1999 and 2007 respectively. After graduation of M.E. course, he worked for Suzhou institute of nano-technology and nano-bionics in April, 2007. Presently he has been in charge of the operation and maintenance of AFMs in SPM lab.
During as a student of M.E. in Shanghai University, he majorly researched the preparation and characterization of nanomaterials of Fe2O3, PbS, PbSe and SnSe, and applied for two invention patents. He participated in the sub-project about the mechanism of nanomaterials for neural stem cell of the project about research of the Bio-safety of artificial nanomaterials and exploration of solutions supported by National Major Fundamental Research Program of China and he sub-project about the research of nano-wires and nano-sensors of TiO2 of the project about nanosensors and applications based on one-dimension nanomaterials supported by The National High Technology Research and Development Program of China. He used AFM to draw, push, split and cut carbon nano-tubes, and study the damage of the concentration of carbon nano-tubes solution for DNA, and investigated anode aluminum and stannum oxide lithography and their applications. Together with other two college mates, he developed a whole set of equipment for quick treatment of industrial refractory organic wastewater by electronic beam, and won the first prize in the Shanghai "Sci-tech Pioneering Cup" invention-creation of University student Contest.
Present work:
1. The construction of SPM lab.
2. Develop SPM with multi-functions and multi-tips.
3. Operation and maintenance of AFMs.
